I am still alive, and studying !

Monday, January 19, 2015

Hi there. So apparently I'm terrible at blogging, and I don't really know if anyone would read this, but anyway ... Actually, I had a good excuse for changing my priorities a bit for the last couple of months, and as much as I liked blogging, I simply do not have enough time on my hand to do it all !

Because I'm back to school ! More precisely, I'm studying from home. I enrolled the NDA - National Design Academy's Diploma in Interior Design, which will probably lead me into an Interior Design Degree.

I work from home because my youngest doesn't go to school yet, and, well, it's the only way for me to turn my passion into a career. So she's going to the nursery twice a week, and I work then, and also during pretty much any free time I have.

I've already passed 3 modules, and I love it so far. Here's a few examples of what I've been working on.

This is an inspiration board I did about the Georgian Period. I love the Georgian style, also because it blends beautifully with more contemporary designs.
This is a concept board I created for virtual clients. As you can see, I challenged myself with a design that mix the Swedish background of my "client" and their love for Morocco.

I will share more of my work here, and I hope you'll enjoy it. Other than that, everything's great. I love England, made a lot of friends there, kids are good and I can't wait for Spring ! English winter is darker than I expected, can you believe it's night at 4pm ? No wonder we want to go to bed at 9pm. And we sometimes do ! Pathetic ... Anyway, have a great day !!
